Jaki Sabourin asks Jasbina Ahluwalia: Thank you. That was an in-depth look at your philosophy. I want to ask a few questions that I know that women who are looking for a relationship are very interested in.
Women outnumber men in their late thirties. I’d like you to weigh in on that.
Do you find that it’s more difficult for a woman in her late thirties to get married? Is that still possible for them, or at any age, for that matter?

Empowered Women Attract Men: Any Age
There is absolutely hope at any age to get married. I’m emphatic about that.
I believe that an empowered woman magnetizes men, regardless of the age. That’s what I encourage all women to be.
Empowered Women Attract Men: Awareness
Part of empowerment is awareness. I believe it’s helpful to be aware that there is a disparity.
I had our team look this up. As of the US Census 2014, there were approximately 36 million single women aged 35 and above.
There were 25 million single men. There is a disparity. Being aware of that is helpful.
Do we have any control over those numbers? Absolutely not.
It’s not empowering to dwell on those numbers. To have an awareness of it is fine.
Empowered Women Attract Men: No Dwelling
Dwelling on it doesn’t get us anywhere.
Part of the empowered way of dating is to have control over our mindset.
Empowered Women Attract Men: Mindset
One of the things to consider is to look at your mindset.
Are you succumbing to this idea?
Do you sometimes ask yourself, “Are there any good men left out there?” You start questioning this. That can be really insidious.
Empowered Women Attract Men: Internalized Belief
The biggest problem is, if that starts getting internalized as a belief, it becomes our reality.
Our beliefs create our reality.
That is a really important thing to keep in mind. We have our beliefs.
Our subconscious likes our beliefs to be consistent with our reality.
If you have a belief that there are no great men out there, our filter will look for all of the not-so-great men out there.
It’s going to find them because our subconscious wants us to have that consistency.

Our reality will be that we will find all the not-so-great men.
The problem is that there are a lot of great men. We’re just not noticing them because our subconscious has a filter to look for the not-so-good men.
Empowered Women Attract Men: Mastery of Beliefs
Part of being empowered is to really have mastery over our beliefs.
If we have a belief that’s not serving us, then we need to identify that it is a belief that is limiting us.
Then we need to do what we can to get rid of it. This is a good example.
Empowered Women Attract Men: Focus on What You Can Do
The reality is that there are fewer men than women? What do we do with that?
We focus on what we can do, which is to look at our beliefs and set the filters that are going to help empower us as opposed to limiting us.
I want to emphasize that empowered women magnetize men at any age.
